Earth Temple Gardens
Earth Temple Gardens is an organic farm located at the North end of Kootenay Lake with garden areas in the communities of Argenta and Meadow Creek.
We are committed to producing high quality, nutrient-dense organic vegetables in the most sustainable way possible to nourish our local communities while enriching and supporting the biodiversity of the land.
We believe that the application of traditional farming techniques to organic food production allows us to cultivate deep appreciation for and connection with the land. A major emphasis in our food production is on growing varieties of vegetables which are naturally suited to our climate, thereby preserving local diversity while helping to build healthy communities. These locally produced vegetables offer us a deepened health base that we can share at the table with family and friends.
Phi Farm is a small farm located in the rural area of Otter Point on Vancouver Island overlooking the Juan De Fuca Strait. The farm’s name comes from a recognition that, throughout nature, there exists an intelligence and vitalism. We work with this understanding, utilizing biodynamic practices, to grow a diverse variety of medicinal herbs, that are then supplied to local purveyors.
As biodynamic farmers, it is important to us to produce our own fertilizer and this is where our resident Romney sheep excel, ensuring the soil thrives for generations to come. In addition, they supply the farm with an abundance of cuteness, as well as some of the finest cruelty-free wool fibre. Through biodynamics, the farm is able to maximize the vital potency of the plant medicine we grow. We are also able to grow regeneratively by cycling nutrients and manure that, in turn, nurtures and builds the soil. It is a beautiful organic methodology that embraces biodiversity and harmonizes the land to the cycles of nature.
Chickadee Farm is a second-generation, small family farm that strives for sustainable organic stewardship of the land in harmony with the forest around us. We are located in the farming community of Flatbush in north-central Alberta, Canada.
We specialize in growing and wildcrafting herbal teas and culinary herbs.
We are proud of our quality. We work hard to create fresh dried herbs with a rich, natural colour and full fragrance. We sell only herbs we grow in our garden or ethically wildcraft in the surrounding boreal forest.
